Episode 6: Dave Stys

On Episode 6 of Humans of Email, we're bringing in Dave Stys, Senior Technical Product Manager at AWeber, for a conversation that's out of this world! From his career start in astronomy to his work on bringing more AMP to the world of email, Dave talks about his unlikely path to becoming an email geek, his life at home, and whether or not Pluto is a planet. Dave Stys comes with over 20 years of both marketing and technical experience. His varied career includes instrument calibration work on NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, marketing research for the NFL and college athletics clients, and technical product development with a current focus in email marketing at AWeber (ESP). Dave is AWeber’s local expert on dynamic content, AMP for Email, and sender authentication. He also works alongside the email deliverability team to stop spam messages from reaching subscribers. He earned a BS in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Villanova University and an MS in Sport Management from UMass, Amherst. Dave and his family live in Pennsylvania.
